We are huge foodies here and to mark this day, we’d like to share some of our fantastic vegan previous Businesses of the Month – have you tried any of these?
Latin American plant based kitchen The Muddy Puddle, based in London, is one of our absolute FAVOURITE places to enjoy coffee and pastries, brunch, or their legendary Muddy Sunday Full Vegan plate. They hosted our Spring Mayven in their wonderfully tasteful events space back in March – and we’re back there again in August – read all about them.
Sasparella Vegan Deli in Cornwall has two main food offerings. They deliver joy in the form of vegan donuts to individuals and organisations on Fridays in Falmouth and Penryn. And they take beautiful bagels to Falmouth Market on the Moor every Saturday. What a way to eat at the weekend! Find out more here.
Then there are three connected (mostly) vegan eateries in Cornwall that we just adore – Apple Tree Cafe in Sennen, Orange Café Bar in Mousehole and mobile food truck Vood Bar. All three are owned by Dee Anderson and all three serve the most incredible (mainly) vegan food. Check them out.
One of our very favourite vegan businesses is ‘I AM NUT OK‘ who create products that make people’s mouths water. Addictive like cheese, but even better! The philosophy behind I AM NUT OK is to be ‘more daring than dairy’. Find out more about them here.
And last but not least, known for her inventive and tantalising vegan recipes, one of our absolute favourite cooks and food writers is the wonderful Meera Sodha who has managed to transform everyday cooking into an exciting adventure filled with bold flavours and comforting dishes. Read about her fab vegan recipe books – and our favourite recipes in them.
Let us know if you try any of them out!
