Let yourself Bloom with our August Business of the Month

Our August Business of the month is the sensationally scented, woman run wonder that is Bloom Remedies.

Based near Marazion in West Cornwall, and founded and run by accredited aromatherapist and member of IFPA Marie, Bloom Remedies has been producing Aroma Wellbeing and Natural Skincare products based on essential oils and using traditional techniques since 2010. Their product range now includes skincare, bath foams and salts, essential oils, and gifts.

Bloom organise their bath and body products around three parts of life, and three delicious scent families. Serenity, for sleep and relaxation includes Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Sweet Orange, Cedarwood, Patchouli and Lavender. Radiance, for happiness and joy, contains Bergamot, Mandarin, Lemongrass, Ginger and Lime , and Kindred Spirits blends Ylang Ylang, Black Pepper, Benzoin and Neroli, for Romance.

The skincare range includes products for day and night. Scents such as neroli and camelia to rosehip and frankincense feature in daily moisturisers, while active botanicals argan oil, camellia seed oil, rose, and benzoin, peppermint and cardamom feature elsewhere. Further products include cleansers, masks, mists, lip balms, and handy trial sizes to experiment with, reusable bamboo make-up removing pads and a full range of brushes, mitts and cloths. Their men’s range includes facewash and moisturiser, and gifts – out of stock at the time of writing.

The body care range adds hand and cuticle creams and body washes, rescue balm and scrubs, and foot balms and soaks to the mix.

Artistic Director Rebecca Mordan says, “I’ve recently been enjoying Cornish company Bloom Remedies, and their mid-priced, high quality products, which make a great treat for self care or for others. I was so pleased to find out that not only was Bloom founded by a woman but the majority of the team are women too – they’re a perfect fit for us here at SLG!”

Do go and explore their website and treat yourself to a little bit of Cornish gorgeousness – there’s so much there that we can’t do it justice here at all!
