Dance Centred CIC, a community-focused dance organisation, are thrilled to introduce Sea Dances – a project celebrating the ways the sea moves and inspires us.
Sea Dances invites participants to explore their connection to the sea through dance, art, and other forms of creative expression. This community initiative, led by Dance Centred sea-inspirational co-directors Sam Lawrence and Lois Taylor, encourages people of all ages to consider the guiding question:
“How does the sea move you, and how do you see the sea move?”
From now until April 2025, Sea Dances is offering a rich program of workshops, community events, and opportunities to share your creations, inspired by the movement, textures, and rhythms of the sea. The goal is to nurture a space where everyone—artists, dancers, writers, and anyone curious about creative expression—can respond to and interact with the sea in new, inspiring ways.
Creative Conversations
December 5th, 6:30 – 8 pm | The Village Hall, Downderry
Join Dance Centred for an open discussion centered around the project’s guiding question. This is a great chance to share, listen, and be inspired by the creative ideas of others in the community.
