Unfortunately, Age’s 40th birthday was also the first day of the first lockdown. The trip was postponed. We didn’t know how long for.
Today we were due to be flying back to the UK with enviable tans and wonderful tales to tell – but alas, it will have to wait for another time! In theory we’ve put it all back to next March to celebrate ‘the big four-one’ as it will hence-forth be known, but of course we’ll have to see what’s possible in due course… – another of Adrian’s emails to his family and friends
It took a while to get back right side up after the last few years but finally, this year, we got him out there. We thought we’d share some of the amazing animals we saw out there because, frankly, they blew our minds! Happy birthday Adrian, at last.”
