Good news – the march celebrating the 40th anniversary of the start of Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp is looking bigger and better than ever with walkers, activists, cyclists, artists and many more signed up!
Other news – this means we could really use more hands-on-deck to ensure the quality of the experience for all, can you help?!
Here are the things we’d love to know if you could volunteer to help us with, we need –
- Stewards
- Physio and medic types
- Personal assistants to lower barriers to access
- BSL interpreters (we have paid posts for this, please let us know if you have the skills!)
- Support vehicle for the bike ride or others to support the bike ride in any way
- Qualified first aiders
We’d also love to hear from anyone who can help with accommodation and/or evening food or lunches in any of the communities along the route.
Maybe you are signed up already or maybe you have these skills and could join us? Either way we’d love to hear from you and talk about how we can all come together to make this a splendid celebration of female awesomeness and what can be achieved when we work together – a better world is possible, onwards!
