Gemma Bond is a Liverpool based circus and cabaret performer and puppeteer.
She has made a name for herself on the UK and European cabaret circuit as Velma Von Bon Bon, known especially for creating original comedy acts fusing circus skills with her unique brand of idiocy. In recent years she has been focusing more on outdoor theatre and family friendly work and has been collaborating with various companies including Goofus theatre and The Birdcage Stage.
Her work always involves a variety of impressive visuals and humour, combining puppets, elaborate costumes and unusual skills. Always taking you on a clown journey of nostalgia to some sort of ridiculous celebration of life.
