Jessica Lucia Andrade is a petite powerhouse creative.
An East 15 graduate, Jessica has exploited her range and worked extensively across so many media. She’s an actor who has appeared on stage, short film, music video, commercials and site-specific theatre. In addition to that she’s also a highly physical performer with circus skills, wire work, aerial, dance, rope, trapeze and acrobatics. I’m exhausted just typing that!
Jessica was recently in Secret Cinema & Fever Presents Bridgerton – the immersive Bridgerton experience. Jessica created an aerial theatre show ‘The Brownie Club’ which premiered at Jacksons Lane. The Brownie Club is an exploration of brown bodies, how they are perceived and the barriers they face. The Brownie Club has been supported by various organisations and venues; – Proteus Theatre & Jacksons Lane to create an aerial theatre circus show – Certain Blacks & Newham Festival to create an Online excerpt – Roundhouse Theatre London, to create a cabaret – Soho Theatre, to create a comedy – Brown Bread Sound installation commissioned by Tangled Feet – Showcase at Subtopia; showcasing UK circus with intent to tour internationally.
