British artist creating unique, storytelling wearable art for individuals, Diane Goldie has been weaving her hand-painted, channelled magic for the past ten years.
Formerly a children’s entertainer / puppeteer on the London party circuit, Diane followed her calling to being a full time artist when the fires of menopause and her Fathers death burned through and created in her a whole new way of being. Themes of ancestry, spirit and authenticity are repeated in various illustrative forms using hand painting and appliqué on robes.
For our Mayven Festival, Diane is creating two performance art robes based on healthy female sexuality, using symbolic imagery of fertility and the female sexual experience.
