One of very few female knife throwers in the world and the only one who combines this with comedy and feminism, Annabelle turns classical circus gender stereotypes upside down by throwing knives at men!
She has performed all over the world including in 5 award nominated shows in Australian Fringe and her own 4.5 star show. Annabelle has compered and hosted many different stages and events over the last 15 years including main stages, festivals, cabaret, outdoor stages, Christmas light switch ons, items for the BBC, with audiences from 5 – 5,000!
This year she was honoured to host the biggest circus stage in the country The Circus Big Top at Glastonbury Festival and is excited to return in 2023. With her Arts Council DYCP funding Annabelle trained in Mental Health First Aid and with Safer Spaces in working with survivors of sexual and domestic abuse to create a workshop that empowers women and non binary people to find their confidence and overcome their obstacles. From cabaret to festivals to street corners all over the world Annabelle loves what she does and loves making work that is inclusive, fun and conversation starting.
