‘The Wish to Connect’, is a multifarious interpretation of what it is to reach out, or equally, reach into connection and purpose, at this pivotal time in life, where children leave and grandchildren are born.
Painting quickly, in short bursts, I aim to capture the fluidity of an every changing moment. A language of connection has evolved out of video footage of contact improvisation and contemporary dance workshops, providing rich metaphors of shapes, movements and interactions.
