DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us for a cabaret night at The Poly filled with song\, stories and solidarity.  \nA night filled with creativity and performance\, Scary Little Girls and Greenham Women Everywhere invite you to celebrate the stories of the Greenham Common Women’s Peace Camp. \nPerformers from across Cornwall will share the stories of the women who were at Greenham Common. See some feats of acrobatics and balance as our troupe show the techniques used to climb over the fence and break into the base. We’re celebrating the creativity used in the art of peaceful protest. \nMake a radical postcard with Caroline Wilkins from Redruth Press\, join us for rousing performances of protest songs and celebrate the stories of these powerful women who worked together for the common good. \nTickets are £9 and are available to book here! \nThis event is part of the Mayven Festival Winter 2023 in Cornwall. The Mayven Festivals project has received £25\,000 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and is part of a £4.4m investment in a cultural events and talent programme across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. \n \n
