DESCRIPTION:Join Artistic Director Rebecca Mordan and Team Scary member Bec Applebee alongside members of the Scilly community for a celebration of what it means to be an island woman. \nAfter the success of Queenagers\, we will be working again with St Mary’s Theatre Club and friends\, using song\, poetry and monologues drawn from the lives of women from all five inhabited islands and all different ages and backgrounds. This evening will share the trials and tribulations\, the joys\, sorrows and hilarity of the women who’ve been born on\, blown into or currently bolster the Isles of Scilly. \nThis show has been created from 50 interviews conducted by Scary Little Girls with Scilly Museum and Kresen Kernow and marks the official launch of the archive. Told in the language and by the voices of the Scillonian community\, this event highlights what a unique and marvellous people carve out their lives on these stunning rocks amidst the Atlantic… \nBook your tickets here!
