Greenham Exhibition & Events (Penryn)

1st March 2021 - 31st March 2021

We’re delighted to take the Greenham Women Everywhere touring pop-up exhibition to The Fish Factory in Penryn for a special week of events presented by project curator Rebecca Mordan, including:

  • Screening of classic documentary Carry Greenham Home alongside new animations by students at Falmouth Film School (Thursday 19 November, 7.30pm)
  • Sing-a-long night with Claire Inglehart, featuring songs and stories from around the Greenham camp fire (Saturday 21 November, 7.30pm)
  • Special multi-generational panel and workshop event featuring local activists from Extinction Rebellion and Falmouth and Penryn Welcome Refugee Families (Sunday 22 November, 3pm)

Tickets for these events will be available directly from the venue.

The exhibition itself is free of charge and showcases some original photographs created by our team, and also archival material, both visual and written, which we have collated during the project. We’ll be playing you soundscapes created by artists we have worked with which give a cross-section of the oral testimonies we have taken, as well as using some of the wonderful Greenham music.

All set in a Greenham-inspired tent, this exhibition really allows you to get an intimate look at the sights and sounds of the camp, gives voice to these radical women and asks you what change you want to see in the world.

Our team has been led in the exhibition design by Rachael Miles, an artist and Senior Lecturer at The University of The West of England.
